Chells Manor is the later estate on the north-east side, built out from the 1980s onwards. It sits between Great Ashby's new build and the original 1960s Chells housing in age as well as on the map.
Wiring of that vintage is generally sound, but it is at the point where the consumer unit is the weak link and where kitchens and bathrooms fitted twenty years ago are being replaced. Kitchen rewires, new boards, downlights and outdoor power are the regular calls.
It is a five minute run from our base in Great Ashby, so it is one of the areas we can usually reach fastest.
