Gunnels Wood is Stevenage's industrial and science quarter, the long strip between the railway and the A1(M). It holds the town's biggest employers, its science park and the units and trade counters that supply them.
This is commercial work rather than domestic. Fit-outs and refurbishments, lighting, three phase supplies, small power, reactive repairs and the testing schedule that keeps an insurer happy.
We are used to site rules, permits and working to somebody else's programme. Out of hours where that keeps a unit running. Everything is tested and certified with the paperwork ready to go straight into your files.
